VA Black Hills Health Care System
Scottsbluff Veteran Town Hall
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Black Hills Health Care System (BHHCS) will host a Veteran Town Hall Meeting on January 17, 2017 at VFW Post 1681, 2701 North 10th St. in Gering beginning at 6:00 p.m. Veterans, family members, survivors, and the public are invited to attend. The meetings are intended to provide an open forum for VA to hear directly from beneficiaries to continue our system-wide improvements for Veteran care. This Town Hall is part of an ongoing effort to regularly meet with Veterans across the health care system.
“We are looking forward to hearing from Panhandle Veterans about their care,” said Sandra Horsman, VA BHHCS Director. “This is a great way to answer questions and learn about what is working and how we can improve our services.” Staff will be available to respond to a range of questions including the Veterans Choice Program and Mental Health programming in VA.
Immediately before the Town Hall there will be an opportunity for Veterans to meet one-on-one with VA staff to answer questions about their health care benefits and services. Veterans can stop by any time between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. The Town Hall will begin at 6:00 p.m.
