Fifty Years...and Counting
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Black Hills Health Care System employees, fellow Veterans, friends and family recently honored O'Dell Reynolds for 50 years of Military and VA service with two celebration events, a certificate and pin.
Mr. Reynolds was appointed as a Housekeeping Aid in Facilities Management Service/Environmental Program at VA Black Hills in January of 1991, after retiring from the U.S. Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant with 30 years of service. During his military service he received several medals for his service, including the Vietnam Service Medal and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Mr. Reynolds has been serving other Veterans through his work at the VA for the last 20 years. During his VA career he has served in various positions and has been recognized many times for his dedication, commitment and caring manner. He has received numerous Performance Awards, Special Action and Service Awards.
