VA Black Hills Health Care System Announces New Associate Director of Patient Care Services
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Black Hills Health Care System is pleased to announce the placement of Jo-Ann Ginsberg, RN, MSN as Associate Director of Patient Care Services for VA Black Hills Health Care System as of September 11.
In her role Ginsberg will oversee a variety of programs including, but not limited to, Pharmacy, Nutrition & Food Services, Tele-Health, Ward Administration, Prosthetics, Canteen Services, Supply Processing & Decontamination, Voluntary Services, Education and Nursing Practice. She will be actively engaged in all facets of operations for the VA Black Hills Health Care System.
Ginsberg joins the VA Black Hills with an extensive background in healthcare. She previously served as the Chief, Learning Resources at the Cheyenne VA Medical Center; the Director, Department of Emergency Medicine at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center; and Patient Care Manager, Department of Emergency Medicine at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY. Ginsberg received her BSN and MSN, Nursing Administration/HIV sub-specialty from Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing in New York, NY.
