examining a lab sample under the microscope

Our Fort Meade Laboratory recently completed their biennial College of American Pathologists (CAP) inspection. A very thorough team from Mitchell spent the day validating the hard work done by all our laboratory professionals.

Each area of the lab was tasked with a few opportunities for improvement and a few good recommendations. The lab was also able to provide the inspectors with some good ideas they could take back with them.

We also underwent an unannounced inspection in February of the Hot Springs Laboratory by the College of American Pathologists (CAP). The highly focused inspection  team looked at all components of our laboratory processes with microscopic attention to detail and then showered kudos on the laboratory staff for their flawless quality and outstanding dedication!

We also hosted a regularly scheduled inspection of our Police and Security Services. It encompassed everything from our day-to-day operations, physical security and the cleanliness of weapons. Our Police Officers hit the bulls eye every time, achieving top ratings in all areas. The reviewer noted the caliber and professionalism of our officers and their leaders.

One comment the reviews stands out:
Our employees recognize our special mission - we care for America's Heroes - our Veterans.
