On Tuesday, July 17 the contractor at Fort Meade will begin the mill and overlay work on teh following roads:

  • Custer Avenue
  • Sheridan Street
  • McKenzie Circle

This will effectively close these streets. 

The milling work is estimated to take 2 to 3 days.  The Contractor will keep access to cross streets open to the greatest extent possible.

Staff and patients should utilize Reno Road while Sheridan Street is being milled. 

Once the milling process is complete traffic will be allowed on the milled streets until the asphalt overlay work which is to be completed later in the summer and/or early fall.  Flag persons and signs/barricades will be in place. You can view a map of the contruction area.
