Appointments

At the VA Black Hills Health Care System, a number of procedures have been established to assist you in getting an appointment without a long delay.  Our goals are simple:

• The veteran should be able to see his/her Primary Care provider within one to two business days.
  
• The veteran should have faster access to specialty care.

If you have received a postcard stating you need to make an appointment, please call:

• Fort Meade at  1-800-743-1070, extension 9-7349
• Hot Springs at 1-800-764-5370, extension 9-2808 or 9-2809

Changing your Appointment

If you cannot keep an existing appointment, please contact us as soon as you are aware you cannot make your appointment.  This will allow us to reschedule you sooner, as well as schedule another veteran for the original appointment date and time.  To reschedule or cancel your appointment, please contact one of the numbers provided above.
